Since I know many of you love my thrift and reseller content, I thought that for today’s post that it would be fun to share with you some of my personal thrift finds. Specifically, I would like to share with you some of my favorite purses finds. These purses were bought at thrift stores, discount retails, and secondhand stores over the last few years. As you can probably guess, I have quite a few purses in my collection so today’s post is just part one. I will definitely share more of my purses with you in the future so please stay tuned for that. Let’s get to it!
Item #1: Miu Miu Colorblock Cardholder
The first item that I would like to share is not a purse but a cardholder. Let me start off by saying that I swear by cardholders. I have quite a few of them and prefer them over a wallet any day. This particular cardholder was purchased on my last birthday at the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets at the Prada outlet. (Fun Fact: Miu Miu is a sub-brand of Prada.) It was heavily discounted and I paid under $200 for it. I love this cardholder in particular because it has a ton of card slots and a zipper on the top of loose money.
Item #2: Made In Italy Quilted Leather Bag
This bag is hands-down he most used bag in my collection. I purchased this genuine leather bag a few years ago at a TJ Maxx store in Syracuse, NY for $60. It was the only one in the store and I am pretty sure was also an online return. When I found it, I thought that it looked very much like a quilted Chanel bag which is ultimately why I ended up purchasing it. For the most part, I wear this bag for dressier occasions or if I am looking to glam up an outfit.
Item #3: Vintage Gucci Monogram Crossbody Bag
There was a time my life where I would find a 2-3 Gucci bags per thrift trip. It was a wild time but a good time nonetheless. When I found this particular bag, I actually found 2 other vintage Gucci bags right near it on the rack. This bag was purchased at a Salvation Army in Rome, NY for under $5. Of my vintage Gucci bags, this is probably my most used bag. The strap does have some damage and the inside has some wear but other than that, it is completely functional.
Item #4: Louis Vuitton Alma BB Bag
This is the only designer bag that I own that I have ever paid full retail for. I purchased this bag using the money that I earned from my annual bonus at my previous corporate job. The only reason that I paid full price for this bag is because this particular bag maintains its’ resale value very well over time. It actually cost the same price to buy it used as it did to buy it new. I view this bag as an investment piece and I hope to use it for years to come.
Item #5: Disney Parks x Loungefly Park Icons Mini Backpack
The final bag that I am going to share today is my Disney Parks x Loungefly Park Icons mini backpack. When I moved to Florida, I was introduced to the Disney x Loungefly collection. These pieces can be found at Disney Parks, Hot Topic and BoxLunch stores. I’ve had my eye on this bag for a while and eventually decided to buy this backpack on Poshmark after I was offered a significant discount by the seller. I cannot wait to use this bag the next time that we go to Disney!
I hope that you enjoyed today’s post and stay tuned for Part 2!
