I have been on the hunt for the best Valentino Rockstud flat dupes out there for a while now! And finally after months of searching, I have finally located the perfect pair! As some of you might know, I have quite a few pairs of Valentino Rockstud dupes (view my sandals HERE). After months of contemplating whether or not I wanted to buy the Valentino ones, I stumbled upon these dupes online by accident. And so I bought them and I am so happy that I did! (more…)
Spring is right around the corner! Today, it is 60 degrees here in New York, which is unusually warm for this time of year. I am definitely soaking in every minute of it in hopes that this warm weather will stick around for good! While enjoying this beautiful day, I can’t help but feel inspired to start shopping for my spring wardrobe. Usually, I don’t start shopping for spring yet but really feel as through I should start ASAP. And so while I was out at TJ Maxx a few weeks ago, I spotted these gorgeous Kate Spade glitter loafers on the shelf. I fell in love with them instantly and knew that they would be the perfect glitter loafers for spring!
Let me start by saying that I LOVE buying and selling Anthropologie items. Anthropologie is a very popular brand in resale and can allow for large profit margins. Have you ever sold any Anthropologie items before? If you have: how long did it take for the item to sell and how much did you sell it for? What were your margins? These are factors that you need to consider when buying and selling this brand. Sometimes, an item can sell in a matter of minutes while another item may take longer to sell. Needless to say, buying and selling Anthropologie is tricky business. Hopefully I can provide some helpful insight on the matter and help you to make some awesome sales! (more…)
So as I’m sure you know by now, I love mixing thrifted finds with retail pieces. For today’s post, I wanted to share this fun look that I put together with both thrift and retail finds. Like most resellers, you will find me at a thrift or resale store multiple times throughout the week. As a result, I tend to get first dibs when they put out new inventory. (Also, getting to know the employees that work at thrift stores helps too!) This is great when sourcing and also when trying to find pieces for yourself. I would say that about 75% of my wardrobe consists of thrifted pieces and 25% consists of retail finds. Whenever I get dressed, I love mixing and matching as it helps to create your signature look! And with that, let’s talk about today’s look!
So I was walking through the mall yesterday and I noticed that retailers were starting to put out spring shoes. At first, I was really excited knowing that spring was coming soon (fingers crossed). But after a couple of minutes, I realized that as cute as these shoes were, I realistically didn’t need them right now. I had to give myself a reality check and remind myself where I was; I live in New York, the land of unpredictable weather and never-ending winter. Despite some internal pushback, I decided to stop into Target just to see what they had (yeah, bad idea). (more…)
