This summer has been one of the hottest summers that New York has experienced in a long time. Last week’s heat wave has definitely had me rethinking my summer wardrobe choices. Typically, when the weather gets warmer, I love to wear rompers and jumpsuits. I really love how loose they are, especially during the intense summer heat when everything tends to stick to you. When I was out at TJ Maxx last week, I took a quick look through the junior’s section to see if anything caught my eye. As I was looking at the rompers and jumpsuits, I noticed this one on one of the front racks. The first thing that I noticed about it was its’ belt detailing; I have a very small natural waist so anything that accentuates it is definitely a plus. So I excitedly tried this jumpsuit on the fitting room and knew that I would be going home with it (Yay!). I’m not proud to say this but my romper/jumpsuit collection has grown rapidly this year. For some reason or another, more stores around me are carrying styles and patterns that suit me and my frame. And since I wear them so frequently, I figure why not buy a few more, right?? Anyways, that is why I love jumpsuits for summer and if you don’t, well, we can’t be friends…. just kidding!!
