So as I’m sure you know by now, I love mixing thrifted finds with retail pieces. For today’s post, I wanted to share this fun look that I put together with both thrift and retail finds. Like most resellers, you will find me at a thrift or resale store multiple times throughout the week. As a result, I tend to get first dibs when they put out new inventory. (Also, getting to know the employees that work at thrift stores helps too!) This is great when sourcing and also when trying to find pieces for yourself. I would say that about 75% of my wardrobe consists of thrifted pieces and 25% consists of retail finds. Whenever I get dressed, I love mixing and matching as it helps to create your signature look! And with that, let’s talk about today’s look!
Okay so let me break this outfit down by thrifted versus retail. The thrifted pieces in this look include my white vintage Gucci cross body and Anthropologie Angel of the North thrifted floral sweater. The retail pieces include basically everything else! But my definition of “retail” means that I bought it either at TJ Maxx/Marshalls or on clearance somewhere so it wasn’t crazy expensive. If we are being completely honest here, I rarely shop retail anymore. Why you might ask? Well, when you typically buy a shirt at a thrift store for $5, spending $50 for a shirt at a retail store doesn’t make much sense to me. Anyways, I hope that you enjoy today’s look and have a wonderful week!
