I’m sure that the last thing that you want to hear about is the Nordstrom sale but I wanted to take a quick minute to share my favorite find- the Sam Edelman Celton Espadrille. Last week, I did a little experiment on Instagram to see how my followers liked these shoes. First, I shared a picture of them from the Nordstrom website and almost 80% of the people who voted didn’t like them. Then, I did an unboxing video of the shoes and ran a poll. In that poll, over 60% of the people who voted liked them. After running this experiment, I came to the conclusion that these shoes have a better response in person than online. And I have to say that although I too was a little skeptical of these shoes, they were a great purchase overall.

As I stated above, I purchased these shoes as part of the Nordstrom sale. Originally, I wasn’t going to buy anything from the sale, but I caved and bought these. I just couldn’t help myself (and also I have a slight shoe problem). When I first saw them, they reminded me a lot of the Chanel espadrilles. Once I received them in the mail and opened them out of the box, I immediately tried them on. The suede upper is very soft and the sole of the shoe is cushioned. I could walk in them all day long comfortably. When I was ordering them online, I was really unsure of what size to order as the reviews were mixed. I decided to order my normal size and am very glad that I didn’t follow the reviews regarding the sizing.
