Do you want to maximize your sales on Poshmark or on any other reselling sites? I know that I do! Over the past few weeks, I have made a few smart business decisions in order to set myself up for long-term success and I would like to share them with you today! Please keep in mind, these are just a few suggestions of things that work for me and you will need to obviously be active within the app to really maximize your sales potential. But let’s get started!
Make Sure That Your Photos are Cohesive, Clean, and Clear
This might sound like a no-brainer but you will be surprised how many people do not have clean, cohesive, and clear photos in their Poshmark closet. Let’s break this down:
Clean Photos– These are photos that don’t have a busy background and focus the attention on the object that you are trying to sell
Cohesive Photos– All of the photos in your closet should be cohesive with one another. Your closet should have its’ own, defined aesthetic which will keep your buyers coming back for more.
Clear Photos– Your photos should be crystal clear and not blurry in any way. These photos should be bright, sharp, and should draw a potential buyer to your closet.
Provide All Measurements (if you can)
People have different views on this but if you can, I would suggest providing all measurements in your listings. When I originally started reselling I did not provide measurements for years. This year, is the first year where I decided to provide measurements and so far it seems to make a difference in my sales. Also, over time, it will give your closet more credibility and help people to trust you and your business. Some of the items that I include are: waist, hip, and bust measurements (to name a few), fabric content, condition, and defects/flaws.
Be Consistently Active on the App
The key word here is consistent. I know how extremely difficult this can be sometimes but I truly believe that consistency is key. If you are crunched on time, I would suggest at the absolute minimum sharing your entire closet at least 1x per day (at a high engagement time), share other’s listings a few times a day, and follow Posher’s with similar styles as you and your closet. Remember, the number of people that you follow isn’t as important as you think so follow as many people as you need to.
