A Guest Blog Post from Hannah
Hi, Recycled Roses readers! My name is Hannah and I am a rising college Sophomore, who also happens to be a Poshmark user for over 2 years now. When the lovely Bianca offered me a chance to write a blog post about my time with Posh on Campus, I jumped at the opportunity. If you’ve ever wanted to know how part-time Poshers balance their closet and their life, here’s a glimpse into my world!
Here is a Quick Rundown of What They Offer…
Network with Other College Poshers
I was able to meet other campus representatives from colleges all over America. It’s crazy how we are all in completely different states, cities, environments and academic majors but have such similar experiences as fashion-lovers and entrepreneurs.
Gain Digital and In-Person Marketing Experience
Poshmark HQ was great about ensuring that their campus reps learned about marketing ourselves, our closets, and the Poshmark app. Many of my friends signed up with my referral code as well!
Host a Posh Party!
Squeal! I co-hosted an in-app Posh party and selected my favorite host picks for the night. I even got to give my PFF her first ever Host Pick! In addition, I hosted a workshop presentation in collaboration with my college’s Retail and Design Club. Poshmark sent over a box of goodies and I spoke to fashion and business students about how they can list their clothing on Posh. Everyone loves some quick cash – there’s no better way to appeal to a 19 year old student!
Along with being a part of Posh on Campus, I also remotely run a fully active closet of over 650 listings – my younger sister helps me pack and ship items! It’s not an easy balancing act when both academics and work pull for my full attention, but if I could give any part-time Posher one tip I would say be kind to yourself.
We all love the hustle and the go, go, go but nothing in life is worth burning yourself right out of that passion. Know when you need to take a walk, or grab a coffee, or chat with a friend on the phone….and then get back to sharing that closet!
So that’s my deal, thanks for chatting with me – my socials are below so don’t be a stranger!
