Over the past week and a half, I have been in New York visiting family. While I was there, I went back to my old thrift spots to see if there was anything fun that I could bring back to Florida with me to sell. To my surprise, I bought a suitcase worth of stuff!! In addition to my New York finds, I also found another 2 large bags worth of amazing items in Alexandria, Virginia on our way back to Florida. New York Secondhand Finds

The two above shown photos feature some of the items that I picked up while sourcing in New York. I found these items at a Salvation Army store, Thrifty Shopper stores, Plato’s Closet, and a Once Upon a Child store. My goal for sourcing in New York was to find boots, sweaters, and jackets. These items are extremely difficult for me to find here in Florida this time of year. As a result, whenever I travel to the Northeast, these categories are always at the top of my thrifting list. Some of my favorite finds included: Kate Spade sneakers, Melissa x Jason Wu boots, a children’s Burberry jacket, Rue Saint Patrick sweater, and an Isabel Merchant Etoile sweater.

Virginia Secondhand Finds

Before traveling back to Florida, we stopped at a thrift store in Alexandria, Virginia. It was located right across the street from our hotel and seemed like a sizable store. We spent about 2 hours inside of the store and ended up finding some great pieces. Some of my favorite pieces included a YSL men’s suit, NWT La Perla lace jacket, a unique Betsey Johnson collection sweater, and a hoodie from a new to me brand called The Hood.
