At the beginning of November, I started a new reselling strategy to try to increase my daily sales. Generally speaking, my sales have been pretty consistent so far this month. However, there have been some slower periods and days where no matter what I did on my end, I barely made a sale or two. So what is a girl to do?
When things get slow, instead of getting frustrated or upset about it, I think to myself, “What I can I proactively do to make a sale?” Instead of waiting for a sale to come to me, I like to brainstorm things that I can do to help foster a sale on the various reselling platforms that I utilize. This has led me to creating my own daily reseller strategy. This strategy consists of activities that I can proactively do as a reseller to foster a sale. Essentially, I am trying to complete certain actions in order to make the reselling platform (and algorithm) happy.
Once I started implementing this strategy into my daily reselling routine, I noticed the biggest different in my sales, specifically on Mercari. For the first time in my reselling career, I was making daily Mercari sales, which was very exciting!
I am by no means saying that you have to use this and I am also not guaranteeing that this is going to work for you and your business, but I figured that it was worth sharing with you! So far it is working for me right now and I am hopeful that you can draw some inspiration or new business practices from it!
