At the end of every year, I like to take a step back and review my business in order to prepare a strategy for the upcoming year. I like to take this time to analyze my business’ successes along with my business’ failures. After reviewing all of the data from 2024, I realized that I needed make a few changes to my business in order to set it up for maximal success in 2025. One aspect of my business that I needed to adjust was my daily Poshmark and Mercari strategy. Today, I wanted to share with my current strategy for making daily sales on both Poshmark and Mercari.
My Daily Poshmark Strategy in 2025
Below is my daily Poshmark strategy in both my closet and my men’s closet:
Re-List 50 Items- Every morning, I use PosherVA to re-list 50 items from both Poshmark closets. I don’t always have 50 items to re-list but I always set it for 50 items.
Share 250 Items From The Poshmark Home Screen– Next, I will use PosherVA to share 250 items from the Poshmark home screen. While this process is running, I will head over to Mercari and work on a few tasks on that platform.
List Daily– Next, I will list some new items to each Poshmark closet. I typically don’t have a set number of how many new items I list in a given day. As I complete drafts, I add them to my various reselling platforms using ListPerfectly.
Send Offers to Likers- With the exception of Saturday, I send out offers to likers on Poshmark with different offers being sent out each day. When someone likes an item, I automatically send out a 10% discount using PosherVA. Then, every day between Monday through Friday has an increased discount of 5%. For example, every Monday I send out a 15% discount and every Tuesday I send out a 20% discount. On Sundays, I send out a 40% discount on all items that have been listed for more than 2 weeks. Any items that have been listed for under 2 weeks, I will only send out a maximum discount of 25%.
Like Potential Purchases- Once I am done with all of my busy work, I will scroll through the Poshmark app and search for items that I am looking to source for my business. Any items that I would consider sourcing, I will like in hopes that the seller will send me an offer at a later time. I usually will not spend more than 15-20 minutes per day doing this.
Auto Share 10x Per Day– Using PosherVA, I will set my closet to share 10x per day. Since I have under 1000 items in my closet, I am able to share my closet 10x per day to maximize shares and not go above the Poshmark sharing threshold.
My Daily Mercari Strategy in 2025
Below is my daily Mercari strategy in both my closet and my men’s closet:
Re-List 20 Items- Every morning, I re-list the 20 oldest items on my Mercari account using ListPerfectly. This is probably the most tedious part of my day as I have to manually add in some of the information for each listing.
Promote Listings- Once I have re-listed the oldest 20 items on my Mercari account, I will promote the next 20 oldest items. All I have to do is click a button and I am good to go. Promoting items on Mercari will typically increase the exposure of these items on the app. The next morning, I will then re-list these items and then continue to repeat the process.
List Daily- Next, I will list some new items to each Mercari account using ListPerfectly. I typically will cross-list to Poshmark and Mercari simultaneously. *Note: I highly recommend utilizing Smart Pricing when listing on Mercari as it will automatically lower the price on your items over time.
Send Offers to Likers– When it comes to sending offers to likers on Mercari, I will wait until an item has 3 or more likers before sending an offer. Mercari makes you wait in between sending out offers unlike Poshmark so I have to approach offers a little bit differently on this platform.
Overall, I am able to complete this entire process within 1-2 hours depending on the day and how much I have to list. As someone who has been reselling on these platforms for a long time, I can confidently say that consistency is very important when it comes to making daily sales. There are many aspects that go into having successful reselling business and consistency is definitely an important part of the equation.
