This past week, I went for a little family getaway to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is my second time visiting South Florida within the past two years. Last year, we visited Boca Raton (about 30 minutes away) and you can read more on that HERE and HERE. Since I used to live in Florida, I will always be a Florida girl at heart. And as a result, I will jump at any opportunity to visit the Sunshine state. I mean, how could you not want to look at those turquoise blue waters everyday?? We were very fortunate that our hotel room was overlooking the ocean and I could admire this view every morning. (But more of that on Wednesday…) Today, I want to share with you some of my ocean views and adventures while exploring Fort Lauderdale beach. Andiamo/Let’s go!!
^^ All of my pictures are taken with my Canon Rebel camera and either THIS lens or THIS lens.
^^I could sit here and enjoy this turquoise blue view ALL. DAY. LONG.
^^Yes, I got my hat wet and no I am not going to let it stop me from taking pictures. It was only $3 at Target FYI.
^^Also as a side note, I got REALLY tan on this trip which makes up for me getting extremely sunburned last year.
^^Also, my mom (aka my photographer) was very proud of herself for capturing the pelican in the background – haha!
Be sure to check out Wednesday’s post for more Fort Lauderdale adventures!
