Everything You Need to Know About Buying a Double G Gucci Belt

If you’ve been on Instagram or Pinterest within the past year, you know that the Gucci Double G belt is one of the most coveted belts in the fashion world right now. Retailing from $350 +, these belts are on the pricer side so some might be more hesitant when deciding whether or not to buy one. Last week, I was fortunate enough to pay off the remainder of my student loans and am officially debt free (which is super exciting)! To reward myself for my hard efforts, I decided to treat myself to the coveted Gucci Double G belt. Before buying this belt, I did quite a bit of research to decide which one is best for me and my needs. Today, I wanted to share with you everything you need to know about buying the Gucci Double G Belt.

Which One Should I Buy?

What most people don’t realize is that there are actually 3 options when it comes to buying the Double G belt:

The Smallest Option (0.8″ width)- Leather Belt with Double G Buckle

2. The Medium Option (1″ width)- Leather Belt with Double G Buckle

3. The Largest Option (1.5″ width)- Leather Belt with Double G Buckle

In case you were wondering, I bought the medium option and I am very happy that I did. The medium belt is actually a men’s belt but I chose it because of the silver buckle and that it wasn’t as flashy as the 1.5″ width one.

How Does it Arrive?

I bought mine online at Gucci.com and it arrived at my house within 3 days of ordering the belt. It did require a signature when delivered so make sure that someone is home to sign for you. If not, FedEx will leave a note on your door and you’ll just have to sign the back of it. When it arrives in the mail, the belt comes in many layers. The belt itself is housed in a fabric dust bag that says Gucci on it. This dust bag is then wrapped in tissue paper within a large, sturdy Gucci box. Scroll down below for unboxing photos…

Authenticating The Gucci Double G Belt

As a reseller, I obviously needed to share with you details to look for when authenticating these belts. There are PLENTY of replicas out there and I wouldn’t be a good reseller, I didn’t share with you what to look for when authenticating these belts. What Size Should I Buy?

When deciding what size to buy, you need to know how you plan on wearing the belt. When I bought my belt, I knew that I wanted to wear it on both my waist and hips so I chose my belt size accordingly. Gucci belt sizing is in centimeters so keep that in mind when purchasing. To determine which size is best for you, Gucci measures from the end of the Double G buckle to the middle hole of the belt. For reference, I purchased the belt measuring 32″ as it will fit how I plan to wear it.
