When it comes to picking out my outfit for the day, I love to wear the classics: black and white. There is just something about these two basic colors that screams old school Hollywood glamour (aka my favorite fashion era). Additionally, this color combination is very much on trend right now so why not wear it, right?
So this entire look was under $40 and I’m sure that you’re wondering how I managed that. Well, it was purely the magic of thrifting and resale. I found this dress at my local Salvation Army for only $6.99. Originally, I was going to sell it on Poshmark but after trying it on, I decided to keep it. I have been looking for a black and white striped dress for over a year now and I am SO glad that I found one that fit perfectly. Now, moving onto my favorite part of this outfit, the shoes. These beauties were sitting on the top shelf of my local Clothes Mentor and had my name written all over them. After trying them on and noticing that there were Vince (these are quite pricey), I was sold! Oh, and these beauties were only $22!
Finally, let’ s talk about my black hat. First of all, I love wearing hats but unfortunately, I don’t get to wear them too often. Most of the time, people stare at me funny when I wear hats like that in a place as small as where I am from. Apparently, it looks like I’m trying to hard or something…I don’t know! Regardless, whenever I get the opportunity to rock a hat, you can bet that I take full advantage! This hat was a steal as I got it at TJ Maxx last summer for only $7.99!
I hope that you enjoyed my latest finds and I will provide links to everything below!
