So it’s my favorite time of year and what else is a girl to do then make fun Christmas cookies! Last year, I shared with you guys my favorite sugar cookie recipe which you can find HERE. This, year we decided to add some gingerbread cookies to the mix, as well as, new cookie cutter designs. Today, I wanted to share with you guys how we made (REALLY EASY) gingerbread cookies and some of my favorite baking sets.
REALLY EASY GINGERBREAD COOKIES RECIPE (From Betty Crocker)
This recipe is SUPER EASY to follow and perfect for those of us that don’t have a lot of time to spare. Also, I they taste really good! Please be sure not to overcook them though, as they could get hard. (That happened to a few of ours). As a finishing touch, we placed each cookie in a bag so that they would last a little bit longer.
In addition to baking gingerbread cookies, we made our usual sugar cookies (the recipe is HERE if you missed it above.) This year, however, we did add some new cookie cutters to the collection. While I was shopping at Home Goods a few weeks ago, I picked up the cutest reindeer and Santa cookie cutters. I love their whimsical design and knew that they would be perfect for making Christmas cookies this year. Below are some of my favorite whimsical baking sets from William and Sonoma just in time for Christmas. It’s never too late to start baking!
