Last week, I did a poll on my Instagram asking my audience what brands they would like to learn how to find stock photos for. I received an overwhelming response. Over the next few weeks, I plan on sharing how to find item names and stock photos for various brands as a reseller. Today, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite brands to sell, Disney.
How to Find Disney Item Names and Stock Photos
In order to find Disney item names and stock photos, we need to first find the barcode number. This number is going to be important when trying to identify an item. We can find this number in 2 different places: (1) The white hang tag and (2) The inner seam tags.
The White Hang Tag
The white tag is the hang tag that has a barcode that the store scans upon purchase (pictured above). On this item, the full barcode number is “400917213355.” This number will be important as we will use it in the next step.
The Inner Seam Tag
In order to find the barcode using this second method, it is important to note that this will only work for tags that have this logo on them, in addition to the following inner hang tags (see pictures above and below).
To find the barcode number for this Disney item, let’s look at the above tag. We are specifically looking for the number in the bottom left hand corner that begins with a “4.” For this item, the barcode number is “456258942027.” Once the barcode number has been found, let’s head over to my favorite hidden website to find the name of the item along with a stock photo…
Barcode Lookup
This is a site and mobile app that I was introduced to years ago by a fellow reseller. I highly recommend using this app if you find items that have the barcode tags readily available. I have found much luck in using this website to find items from Nordstrom and Disney. If you would like to check out the website for yourself, click HERE.
