This past month has been an unusually great sourcing month for me! And what’s a great sourcing month without a haul, right?! Today, I thought that it would be fun to share with you some of my best finds from this past month. Most of the items featured in today’s post are from thrift and resale stores such as Goodwill and Plato’s Closet. Let’s get into it as there are some GREAT finds in here and I know that you are excited to see them!
Let’s Start With the Cover Photo…
Everything featured in the above image was picked up at a Plato’s Closet just outside of Tampa. Plato’s Closet’s here are very hit-or-miss. Some trips are great while others are absolutely horrible and I walk about with nothing. On this trip, I found 4 Lululemon pieces, a Reformation printed tee, a Walt Disney World Parks fourth of July tee, Baldwin jeans (which I will talk about more in this Friday’s Reseller Recap email), and AMO jeans. Additionally, I picked up a few personal pieces for Eric. My grand total was just under $80 for everything pictured above!
Resale Find: Christian Louboutin Spike Sneakers
These shoes were a great find! I found these men’s sneakers at a local resale store for $130. Although they were a great price and in great shape, I did end up leaving them behind! The shoes were missing some studs and comps weren’t as promising as I would have hoped. Regardless, I still thought that these were some really cool shoes!
Goodwill Finds: MaxMara Alpaca/Fur Coat, UGG Boots, and a Rebecca Minkoff Tote
All 3 of these items were purchased on the same thrift trip at Goodwill. First, I found the MaxMara coat for under $15, followed by the UGG boots, and then the Rebecca Minkoff bag. I decided that I am going to send the MaxMara coat off to the RealReal, potentially keep the UGG boots for myself, and clean up and sell the Rebecca Minkoff tote. In total, I paid under $30 for all 3 items!
My Best Find of the Month: Trophy Room x Air Jordan 17 Retro Sneakers in Sz 9.5
These sneakers were my BEST find of the month! Over the past few months, I have been learning a lot more about the world of sneakers. One general piece of knowledge that I learned is that the more a pair of Air Jordans look like the originals, the more they are probably worth. (Also, that you need to look up EVERY PAIR because you never know the value).
On a complete whim, I found these shoes at a Plato’s Closet in Tampa for ver inexpensively. Something about them seemed special to me, so I did some research. AND….. it turns out that these are from a limited edition Air Jordan collab, making them worth quite a bit of money.
A little more research showed that less than 4500 pairs were released making them a very difficult shoe to find. The resale value of these shoes started safely at $300 with some even selling for $1100!! Although the shoes have a few scratches and are missing the front lace cover, they are still in great shape and should result in a great flip!
