As someone who is wishing to pursue reselling full-time, I know how important it is to have multiple streams of income. My primary selling platform is obviously Poshmark but over the past year, I have become a huge fan of The RealReal. When I originally started sending items to the RealReal 2 years ago, I wasn’t really sure how it would go. It was an experiment that went much better than I anticipated that it would. The income collected from my first year of sending to the RealReal paid for all of my blog expenses for the upcoming year which was amazing. (More on that HERE). After my first year was so successful, I knew that I needed to seriously incorporate it into my business model. Now, I send a large box to the RealReal once a month. The income that I collected this year, not only paid for my blog expenses but also provided me with extra means to use towards growing my business.
Before Sending Items To The RealReal, Remember To:
1. Go to Walmart and buy the largest box they have in stock… no, but really….
2. Send items at least once a month or more if you can
3. Learn the RealReal brands and look for them while thrifting (Link to their accepted brands HERE)
4. Go to UPS and not FedEx when dropping packages off- (This is SUPER embarrassing but I accidentally went to FedEx to drop off my last package…But to my defense, the RealReal used to use FedEx until recently. I guess that I was in autopilot or something!)
I hope that you will explore selling with the RealReal and don’t forget to sign up for emails below!!!
