Do you ever feel overwhelmed when it comes time to list items on Poshmark? I can tell you from experience that even I get overwhelmed at times. However, I will be the first to tell you that YOU CAN DO THIS!! As overwhelming as it all seems, it is definitely doable. After doing this repeatedly for the past 5 years, I learned that the best way to list everything and still maintain your sanity is to have a systematic method to your madness. Today, I wanted to share with you some tips for listing items on Poshmark.
Here are Some Tips for Listing Items on Poshmark:
Store All of the Items that You Need to List Together
This will make listing your items much easier in the long run. Personally, I store all of the items that I need to list on a single clothing rack. As I photograph these items, I remove them from this rack and add them to the rest of my inventory. By doing it this way, I have an idea of how many items I need to list and how much time I will need to invest into it.
Dedicate a Set Amount of Time for Photographing and Listing Items
Based on how many items you need to list, you may need to set aside a large chunk of time to both photograph and list your items. Personally, I need to set aside a large amount of time. Although I hate doing this, I typically wait until I have a sizable number of items to list before I photograph them. This is not always the best idea as it can sometimes be overwhelming, but it does work for me. Typically, I will gather all of the items that I need to list and photograph them. Once the items are photographed, I add them back into my regular inventory and clean up. After everything is organized, I edit them and then list them on Poshmark. When all is said and done, this entire process takes me between 2-3 hours (if not more) depending on how much I need to list.
Be Consistent
Consistency is key in succeeding in anything in life. When it comes to Poshmark, you need to be consistent in everything that you do. Your listing photos need to be consistent. You need to add new listings to your closet both frequently and consistently. Basically, you need to constantly be consistent. When it comes to consistency, I try to list 5 new items each day and make sure that my photos are cohesive and uniform within my closet.
I hope that you found these tips helpful! Keep in mind that these are only a few of my tips for listing items on Poshmark!
