Hosting a Poshmark Party: How to Be a Party Host I am SO excited to share that I will be hosting my first Poshmark party tomorrow at 10 PM EST! (So please be sure to check it out- my Poshmark closet is @recycledroses!) Hosting a Poshmark party is something that I have been looking forward to for a while now. I don’t know if this opportunity will come again so I want to make sure that I make the most out of this moment and share this accomplishment with you. Let’s start by talking about the preparation involved in hosting a Poshmark party!

1. How to be a Party Host

First, you will need to achieve Poshmark Ambassador status. This shows that you are an active member in the Poshmark community and that you are willing to support other members within the community. There is certain criteria that you need to meet to be a Poshmark Ambassador (and you can learn more about HERE). Once you are a Poshmark Ambassador, you have the opportunity to be a Party Host. A Party Host is a user who shares listings to special feed during a designated Poshmark party on a given day. To apply to be a Party Host, you need to meet the following requirements per Poshmark:

1. Be in Good Standing- Basically, know the rules and follow them. Don’t have any unsupported items or any offline transactions.

2. Have 25+ Listings- The more listings, the better as Poshmark wants to see that you are growing your closet as it leads to more sales.

3. Be Active on the App- This one goes without saying. Make sure that you are sharing listings, following fellow users, and being an active part of the Poshmark community. Poshmark does ask that you be a member of the app for at least 3 months before being considered.

4. Have an Eye-Catching Closet- Be creative with your listings, take detailed cover photos, and put effort into your closet. Show off your personality and attract potential buyers to your closet.

Finally, you will need to send an email to hosting@poshmark.com expressing your interest in being a Party Host. Your email should express why you want to be a host and how you contribute to the Poshmark community.

If you are selected to be a Party Host, you will receive an email from Poshmark with the date of the party and an instruction packet for the party.
